Anam Cara House is pleased to announce that it has recently signed an agreement with the Geelong Community Enterprise (GCE) – a locally owned franchise of the Bendigo Bank.

The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate Anam Cara House, Bendigo Bank Limited and Geelong Community Enterprise working together to assist in creating a sustainable income for Anam Cara House.

The benefits

  • Businesses have access to competitive telecommunications (fixed, mobile and broadband) and banking services
  • Business receive outstanding local services from Geelong owned Telco
  • In future, telecommunications services will be offered to residential customers
  • Anam Cara House gets a share of the telecommunications and Bendigo Bank Limited revenue to build a sustainable income
  • Geelong Community Enterprise grows its business and one third profits are shared with Geelong regional charities

How it works

A perpetual montly payment will be paid to Anam Cara House for the life of each account referred to GCE as follows;

  • 2.5% of telecommunications invoiced by GCE, to referred business customers
  • 0.1% of depostis and loan facilities for existing Bendigo Bank Limited customers
  • 0.2% of deposits and loan facilities for new customers referred to Bendigo Bank LImited

What you can do to help Anam Cara House

Purchase your telecommunications through Geelong Community Enterprise. Businesses willing to participate need to complete a form (to be provided) indicate they are willing to pruchase telecommunications services through Geelong Community Enterprise subject to it meeting their business needs.

Bendigo Bank Limited existing customers will need to contact their local Branch and advise that they would like their accounts aligned with Anam Cara House. New customers need to notify the nearest Bendigo Bank Limited branch that they would like to transfer their banking to Bendigo Bank LImited and have the account aligned to Anam Cara House.
